James Clayton was a Lead Reviewer in the ‘Peer Review’ H&S risk management audit process for a global mining company. A key part of the company’s assurance and learning processes, this program required teams of auditors to visit company operations to assess the implementation of the corporate management EHS system standards. Visits were focused on identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement and sharing knowledge and experience. To ensure this process was both consistent and value-adding, James was involved in the delivery of training for peer reviewers and provided on-site coaching during the visits.
